We are B Corp Certified!

We are proud to announce we are now a Certified B Corporation! As a B Corp, we’re part of a global community of businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental performance. But what does it all mean?

B Lab is the nonprofit network transforming the global economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet.

What is a B Corp?

B Corps are companies verified by B Lab – a third party, non-profit organisation —  that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. B Corps are legally committed to bringing benefit not just to shareholders, but all business stakeholders — workers, customers, communities, and the environment.

How do you become B Corp certified?

To become a B Corp, we undertook a rigorous assessment process to meet high standards across five impact areas: governance, workers, customers, community and environment, to meet a minimum verified score on the B Impact Assessment.

What is B Corp seeking to achieve?

As Certified B Corporations and leaders of this emerging economy, we believe:

  1. That we must be the change we seek in the world.
  2. That all business ought to be conducted as if people and place mattered.
  3. That, through their products, practices, and profits, businesses should aspire to do no harm and benefit all.
  4. To do so requires that we act with the understanding that we are each dependent upon another and thus responsible for each other and future generations.

Our Impact

The B Impact Assessment is an analysis of our impact across the company’s entire operations, including employee relations, customers, community impact, and environmental stewardship. A company must score at least an 80 across all impact areas to become a Certified B Corp.

Based on our most recent B Impact Assessment, we earned an overall score of 94.4. For comparison, the score for ordinary businesses that complete this assessment is currently 50.9.

We’re honoured to have received the B Corp Certification in our ongoing journey to prioritise the health and happiness of pets and the owners that love them. We will strive to continue to hold ourselves accountable to external stakeholders while ensuring our business’ long-term success.

How to Clean Your Dog's Skin and Coat: Wipes vs. Washing

That classic dog smell. We all know it. Instinct says: bath time. But before you reach for the shampoo, this dog wash guide is here to make the case for slowing down – because washing your dog less (and doing it smarter) is usually the better call. Quick Tips Dog skin pH sits between 6.2–7.4, which is more alkaline than human skin. And because it’s also significantly thinner, it needs a gentler approach. Most people don’t realise that over-washing with harsh shampoos can result in a dull, dry, stinky coat and poor skin health - a wash every 6-8 weeks...
