WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT:

  • Cats are experts at keeping themselves clean. But sometimes they need a little help. Our Wipes are great for cleaning and freshening the skin and coat when cats are sick, injured or elderly. They are great for kittens and messy adult cats too. They can be used multiple times a day – after meals, toilet mishaps, or for a general freshen-up. Wipes can help clean the paws, face, around the rear, and even the whole body (just not too close to the eyes). They also do a pretty good job at cleaning up cat mess around the house (remember to patch test your carpet and furniture first).
  • Not all cats need their nails trimmed, but when they do, it can be a battle. That’s why we made these clever bamboo nail clippers. They’ve been carefully designed to reduce the risk of clipping too short, plus they’re small and lightweight so they’re comfortable for paws and hands.
  • Daily brushing with our Deshedding Brush will remove loose hairs and debris, leading to less hair ingested by your cat and less hair shed around your home. Keep in mind that frequent brushing will reduce tangles and matting in long-haired cats. Brushing also helps improve coat shine by spreading the natural oils produced by their skin. Some cats love brushing, while others don’t, so remember to take it slow, keep it positive and brush small areas at a time to start.

How to Use?

Gently restrain your cat in a position that they find comfortable - on your lap, in your arms or standing with one leg held up at a time. It’s usually best to do this after your cat has eaten a meal and when they are relaxed. Some cats may enjoy a distraction like a Lick Mat with their favourite food. Hold your cat’s paw gently in one hand and carefully extend one nail. With the clippers in your other hand, insert the tip of the nail into the hole and clip in one swift motion. Repeat for remaining nails including the dew claws. Remember to keep the experience positive and take it slow, especially for reluctant cats. Ensure your cat has regular access to a scratching post to help them maintain their nail health.

When used as directed, it is unlikely that these clippers will cause the nail to bleed. If the nail does bleed, wrap the foot in gauze or a towel and apply pressure to the affected toe. If after 5-10 minutes the nail is still bleeding, try dipping the nail in baking powder or flour. If the bleeding continues, please contact your vet promptly.
